MTG Card Bazzar is a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying, selling, and trading Magic: The Gathering cards and accessories. Our platform connects collectors and players in the Philippines, with Scryfall-powered pricing and images, chat, badges, analytics, and more.

Is it free to join?

Yes! Creating an account on MTG Card Bazzar is completely free. You can browse listings without an account, but you'll need to register to buy, sell, or communicate with other users.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, MTG Card Bazzar focuses on sellers in the Philippines. International shipping is at the discretion of individual sellers. Check the seller's profile for shipping information.

Account & Listings

What are the different account tiers?

MTG Card Bazzar has flexible account tiers:

  • Regular (Free): 3,000 listings, no cost
  • With Donations: Each β‚±100 donated = +200 listings (unlimited scaling)
  • Store Owner (Free Request): 15,000 listings + 30 bulk posts + accessories, 1-year verified badge, requires admin approval

How do donations work?

Donations are a flexible way to increase your marketplace presence:

  • Donate any amount via GCash, Maya, or bank transfer
  • Each β‚±100 verified = +200 listing slots
  • Donations are permanent and non-refundable
  • Scale to any size (β‚±100 = +200, β‚±500 = +1,000, etc.)
  • Bonus slots stack with your base tier limit
  • Donations support the platform and community

How do I become a Store Owner?

Store Owner status is a free request that requires admin approval:

  • Go to Settings and click "Request Store Owner"
  • Optionally provide a reason for your request
  • Our admin team reviews your application (24-48 hours)
  • If approved: 15,000 listings, 30 bulk posts, accessories, 1-year verified badge
  • Badge expires in 1 year; renewal reminder sent 30 days before
  • If rejected, you can reapply later or contact support for feedback

Can I combine donations with Store Owner status?

Yes! Your limits stack. If you're a Store Owner (15,000) and donate β‚±500 (+1,000 slots), you'll have 16,000 listing slots total. Store Owner also gets 30 bulk posts and accessories regardless of donations. Donations and upgrades work together perfectly.

Buying & Selling

How does pricing work?

All card prices and images are powered by Scryfall. You can set your own USD→PHP multiplier in Settings → Pricing to control your pricing strategy:

  • Go to Settings β†’ Pricing to set your USDβ†’PHP conversion rate
  • Default is 55.00, but you can adjust (e.g., 56.50, 58.00)
  • When listing cards, Scryfall prices are auto-converted using your multiplier
  • Example: $5 USD card Γ— 56.50 = β‚±282.50
  • Only you can see your multiplier (it's completely private)
  • Account for exchange fees, shipping, and your desired margin

Can I buy and sell accessories?

Yes! Store Owners can list and sell accessories such as sleeves, playmats, deck boxes, and more. Accessories are shown in a dedicated marketplace section.

How does the chat system work?

MTG Card Bazzar has a built-in chat system for buyers and sellers to negotiate, ask questions, and finalize deals. You can access chat from your orders or offers.

What are badges and how do I earn them?

Badges are awarded for milestones, trust, and community engagement. You can view your badges in your profile and see requirements in the Badges section.

How does admin moderation work?

Super Devs (admins) can remove or restore posts, manage users, and oversee the marketplace to ensure safety and fairness. If you see inappropriate content, use the Report button.

What analytics and notifications are available?

Store Owners have access to sales analytics and activity tracking. All users receive notifications for offers, messages, and order updates.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If you receive a damaged item:

  • Document the damage with photos
  • Contact the seller immediately
  • Open a dispute in our system if needed
  • Our admin team will help resolve the issue
  • Refunds or replacements depend on seller policy

Can I cancel an order after purchase?

Cancellation policies vary by seller. Contact the seller immediately if you need to cancel. If the item hasn't shipped yet, they may be able to cancel. Once shipped, refund policies apply.

How does the rating system work?

After a transaction, both buyers and sellers can rate each other:

  • Rate on a scale of 1-5 stars or like/dislike
  • Leave optional review comments
  • Ratings help other users make informed decisions
  • Your average rating appears on your profile

Safety & Security

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. We use industry-standard security measures:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data
  • BCRYPT password hashing (cost 12)
  • Secure payment processing
  • Privacy controls for your personal data
  • Your address, contact, and price multiplier are hidden by default
  • Only final prices visible to other users, not your multiplier

What should I do if my account is hacked?

If you suspect unauthorized access:

  • Change your password immediately
  • Contact our support team right away
  • Enable two-factor authentication if available
  • Review recent account activity
  • Report any unauthorized transactions

How do I report a scam or fraudulent user?

Report through the Report User button and provide details of the dispute. Our team investigates and takes action against violators. Fraud reports are prioritized and handled within 24 hours.
